It might be best to email Chris right away. This way there won't be any more last minute confusion going on.

Good luck to everyone. After looking at my watch at 5:30 this morning, I have to admit, I think everyone is right. No light will be needed. Phew! #-o

Sherry and Reed will be running people and bikes back to the starting line to pick up their cars.
Turns out I am working aid station 2 at the bottom of Holy Jim.

PS, you got some brass in your shorts if your riding that bike.

    Nice!

The first year I did the VQ, I did it on my 34 lb Kona Bear. Last year when I rode the CC with Lacey, I was on my Coiler which weighed 36. You'l be just fine on the climbs, and just think of all the FUN you're gonna have on the descents!:bang:

Heck, I'm just hoping to hit dirt by sun-up. Think I'll forgo the light, too.

#347 here, btw. If you want to shine a little something my way as you pass, feel free.

as for the concern about upper HJ and lower HJ, there's a sign at the bottom of upper HJ when you hit Main Divide pointing you twoards lower HJ. should be hard to screw that one up

You dont even need the sign - the marshalls are there to direct you and make a note of your race number.
