Sauce, tell them before the race. I have faith in your ability to kick butt :)

J--don't they differentiate between SS and gears in the awards? Or, is it the top 20 overall?

it's not the gearing ... it's my old, shot pedals. i put new pedals on though!

the knee started hurting when i started riding my geared bike ... cuz the geared bike had the shot pedals on it.

update on AM light: was awake around 545 this am and while overcast, enough could be seen that I really don't think a light will be necessairy- i just wouldnt have dark lenses on starting up blackstar

cc plate number 424 here. SS al the way, just not sure if it's going to be the 26er (quiet, light, easy to push) or the 29er (bigger wheels- nuff said- aside from the "old ship" creaking ebb)

    see y'all there!

I sprayed the back of your number with lead paint. I'd say it weighs about 23lbs.

    #130 here

We should do a list of names/numbers since all of us haven't met and it may be difficult to recognize you without your avatars :)

Just a little head's up guys & girls...

When coming down Upper Holy Jim to Main Divide, you'll be turning right to get to Lower Holy Jim.

BTW: Upper Holy Jim is in great shape for a change. The ground is tacky from the rains and will be perfect coming VQ day.

Be sure and say howdy as you go by. I'll be working the bottom of Upper Holy Jim. I'll be the one cheering you guys onwards!

Be careful.... and enjoy the ride!

Old Man Riding.. well actually working VQ

Looks like I'll be riding my 13-14 year old hard tail. Luckily it's light but not what I wanted to ride. Should be a good time regardless.

I'll be #147 for VQ. I might put a GeoLadders sticker on my plate and write STR on it too so say hey if you see me. Good luck everyone.

    Yep!

We added Upper Holy Jim a few years back... much more fun coming down that rather than Main Divide... although a lot slower.

I'll keep my eye out for you... what are you going to be riding, Pat?
