    I can't believe how sketchy those bikes look on the trail! It crazy to see how far bikes have come- if you took one of todays DH bikes down that course, you probably wouldn't even feel the rocks.

    I think on those courses most would do just fine. They might not be as fast but some of top current DHers aren't into pedaling that much either.

    so glad I was not into mt. biking in those days! I think walmart bikes now are tougher than those things were.

    Thats how they got messed up....by riding dh on bikes like that. Somthing gotta give!

    Very cool to see this again though. Really puts todays bikes in perspective.

    Looks like some cross country guys took a wrong turn!!! Much resect for those who came before me, looks like a rough ride! These guys have MAD skills.. love this video thanks.... Puts me in a very humble position

    It looks like some of the riders were wearing face shields. Can anyone clarify what I'm seeing there?

    For reference, the rider in yellow at 1:12.
