I'm planning on a Viejoland 2 park ride (maybe a 3 park ride) on Sunday if the weather cooperates.

General planned route (may change at anytime):
    Front parking lot at AW.
Up Rock-it, Down Steps to LCWP, Up Willow, Across Missing Link, Down Em, Up Old Em, Down T&A, Up Canyon Acres, Down Meadows and out to Taco Bell.

Anyone interested in joining me for the morning?

Man, if i was in better shaped i MIGHT attempt that ride, but I know there is no way I could hang on that ride.

That sounds like fun to me. I don't know if I can keep up either but i'll try. I have finals coming up so i'm kinda strapped for time but if its early enough i'll go.

I do plan on starting early, and I definitely plan on a slow and easy paced ride (thus the early start).

This is just going to be a fun and easy ride through the parks.

I plan on being at the front parking lot of Aliso-Woods at 7:00 am.

    Wow

That's a lot of climbing for an "easy" ride. You are an animal. I am duly impressed.

Rock-it is my favorite climb at Aliso; followed by Meadows, Lynx, Cholla, Steps and the Dripping Cave switchbacks……in that order.

Mathis has not been as appealing to me since the county bulldozed out the two rock-garden sections a few years back; and Canyon Acres is too powdery and monotonous most of the time.

Climbing is the best part of mountain biking for me personally.

I've climbed Rock-it twice before, and told myself I wasn't going to do it again for a very long time  I enjoy climbing also, and would probably enjoy it a lot more if I was able to ride more than twice a week. Have fun on your ride Adam, I'll be at a car meet with over 500 cars on Sunday and I'll be thinking about your ride :-k

Hopefully AW and LW will be opened.....If not, I'll be riding up SJT or Maple Springs.
