Big Bear 9-13-09: Last Sunday up at the Snow Summit chair lift, awesome weather and trail conditions. Anyways, caught myself on video with a knucklehead tumble; soft dirt, turned too quickly, my shadow adding to what was caught on helmet cam LOL. Fortunately my hydro backpack, which also contained a pair of padded shin guards, broke my fall. I actually felt the cushioning/springing effect when my back hit dirt. [vimeo]6585182[/vimeo]
thanks for sharing that. I wish I was filming when I crashed in Mammoth. according to my friend it would have been worth watching.
