I never served in the armed forces (too busy wasting my youth on the streets), but i'd like to say THANK YOU to all who have. You aren't shown a fraction of the respect you deserve!

branch= US ARMY service time= 03-08 units served in= 66 mp co, 571st mp co, 1st group special forces rank= E6/Staff SGT mos= mp, srt, weapons sgt for recon and intel missions battles fought= OIF,OEF(X2), various missions in other countries medals= 2 purple hearts and 1 bronze star are the only ones i care about not sure if i even have any good pics as in most of my jobs they really werent allowed.. im sure ill find some to put one here if i had to i would do it all again.. thanks to anyone in any branch that served!

US Coast Guard. About a year and a half on the WHEC(high endurance cutter) Duane out of Portland Maine. That old boat was commisoned in 1933. Then a small boat station in Cape Cod. 44 and 41 footers. Then went to Kodiak AK flying in C 130's. A lot more fun then floating in the ocean. This was a long time ago. Back when there was a draft. Happy B day :beer:

I regret getting out when I did, but had to do it for the kiddos. Blue Rat, G-town actually deployed with ACU-5 for westpac 03-04 under the Pelielu ESG-1. Any chance you were aboard?

Thanks to all for serving our country. Like to send special thanks to my nephew Justin. Been to Iraq twice from Camp Pendleton. Drove him back and forth to boot camp at twenty-nine palms. Here he is on trash burning duty near Baghdad. "No poachers." Home working in construction for his dad up in WA.
1959 - 1962 US Army - Horn of Africa Spent several years in Asmara, Eritrea at Kagnu Station. If I tell you what I was doing, I'd have to kill you.... (seriously).... that's why there are no pictures.... On the flip side after I got out, I spent several years touring with the USO all over the world (singer/guitarist) entertaining troops. I always knew that girls loved guys in uniforms...even at the age of 5. (1946):

I can't believe it... Ranger Nancy found this one of me at 18 years of age. Just out of boot camp. The second one is me working hard undercover in a Turkish night club.... the things I did for my country!!!!
i never served in the armed forces but my dad did 1942-45 Navy ASR33 the U.S.S.Clamp as a hard hat diver. did body recovery. uncle on CV6, U.S.S. Enterprise, plankowner. later got his wings. there are times i feel i missed out by not serving. there are freinds you made during that time that you never forget, my dad told me that.
