Suggestion User Map

What do people think about making a user map for the board, of names and location(doesnt need to be down to the address) of members. That way we could look at a map and see who is near us and more likely to ride the same trails

 

Great idea. Something like the socal trailhead map would be cool.

 

i liked the idea until i remembered we have "groups" you can join/make. A few of them are already geographically oriented, sorta.

Well, you could go to your CP and input in your geographical location. That way others will know where you are and they may PM you about riding if you're near them. Just post a ride and they will come. Cheers!

Being a professional geographer and cartographer I like the idea.

 

I thinks that's a pretty cool idea....I'm curious to see the STR population that's near me....

 

I like that Ricky is interested in knowing where people live, but doesn't have his home city listed.:?::lol:
