I do like having some of the options of the homepage available such as tracking where I have posted, most recent post, the random pictures, etc. Do what you need to do for you - and your sanity George. Not that my opinion means much but im having a hard time with this new vbulletin set up...Not liking it so far (but i have barely started playing with it) What is the facebook thing at the top ??
huge props george. looks like massive amounts of work. i dig the look/feel of old but do what is best. can we get the cal rsvp working and even better yet like a while back when you create a cal event also starts a thread string? anyway again huge thanks for all hard work btw - does this mean no evidence so malware/virus...please tell me this is the case

Have some cool stuff coming soon. * event forums: create a thread in trailhead which automatically creates an event in the calendar. sadly the RSVP mod doesn't seem to work with this in vb4 yet. those of you that have been here awhile may remember something similar that we used to have * chatbox: for all that trash talkin * upcoming events box on the homepage * better video embedding. now all you'll need to do is copy paste the youtube URL into your post and it'll automatically turn into video Also have some other less exciting things coming Friday or Saturday: * fixing the look of the albums (border around photos is huge right now) * bringing back the ads (sorry, but I have to...) * fixing how the tabs up top get highlighted on certain pages * bringing back some of the old pages (about page, privacy policy, etc) Keep the feedback coming. I'm still playing with the look/feel and what to do on the homepage so any feedback will be taken into consideration.
It was easier for me to get a run-down of latest thread on the home page with the older version than it is now. I'm not the most forum savvy guy, so maybe I just need to play with it. Or, maybe there is a setting I can change so that my homepage shows the latest thread activity. BTW. Thanks for all the work George. I've been feeling lonely.
If you or anyone else feels the same way after playing with it a bit, let me know how it could be easier to use. I could modify it in a lot of different ways (maybe taking out the post text so it only has the thread title?).
