they also put in motorcycle gates everywhere to keep vehicles out of the burn area and blocked off exposed mine shafts

The gate was open at Beeks and there were some moto's that said they came all the way from Ortega today, and today is the 22nd....so I wonder if Motoway and Maple Springs are officially open?

They can ride along the Main Divide without using Maple Springs or MW, because the Main Divide is open from Black Star to Ortega.

I also heard that Maple Springs and MW are now open. I haven't been able to verify it through Debra Clarke. I called and left her a message. As soon I receive conformation, I will post it here.

    The only info is this:
Maple Springs Road and Silverado Motorway (Trail) will remain temporarily closed until the completion of the Blue Light Mine clean up project. They are expected to re-open by November 22, 2008.
The Forest Service appreciates the cooperation being shown by the public. For further information, call (951)736-1811.

Update: I also just now recieved a call form Dispatch that Ranger Tony in Silverado Canyon put in a log that all closed areas with the exception of Harding is NOW OPEN!

Any word on when Harding will be open and what's with the parking issue? Looks like Tucker is having parking for them only.

ya parking is going to be an issue when harding opens parking will be for tucker only. They may open their back parking lot for trail users and charge 5 $ to park.
