    That is interesting. Maybe it is a good thing my bike came with Mavic Aksiums instead of 105.

    Aaron, if your going to upgrade your wheels have you looked at tubeless? Fulcrum makes tubeless wheels that are light and strong. The advantages of tubeless tires are less rolling resistance at less pressure. Lots of articles on tubeless road wheels and tires, I think we are going to see more and more of them in the future.

    I had good luck with my Elites...bombproof. Also pretty cheap if you look around...mine sold on eBay for $260/pr.

    BUT...looks like you bought a set already, Aaron. Did you end up with the 6600s?
