    been browsing around, and it seems that the DW DHR got a complete new facelift. looks interesting to say the least. I kinda like the old one better, but I can't argue with a better working, more durable bike. You have to respect any manufacturer that is willing to scrap a year of design work and prototyping in order to put out a better product.

    Why not go straight to the source??? Funny how they have an older design on the top of the page and the new prototype on the bottom. :lol:

    story ::.

    In Downhill racing you only have a few minutes to make your day. This is no place for heavy, sluggish freeride sleds or half baked linkage curves; Only a purpose built downhill bike puts you within reach of the podium. Building upon 8 years of DHR geometry excellence this race bike will have you railing corners and gaining speed when others are feathering their brakes.

    Using the newest version of the World Championship proven dw-link, this bike will out accelerate every other design on the race course. With the patented anti-squat technology the rear suspension won’t lock out under power, allowing the rear tire to hook up while you rip out of corners.

    Every time you turn around it changes!!! When I talked to DT a few months back he said the design they were working on was too expensive to put into production. I know it will be a good bike once they finish it!!!

    yea, its ridiculous how much they changed...

    but still, I doubt it will be any flexier than your bike...

    or rather, if they finish it #-o

    Any rumors confirmed that the bike is going to be too expensive for production?

    Flexy really means "a combination of fly and sexy", for those who don't know. I personally think it applies to Intense bikes, but not Turners. :)

    What would Turner do if they had no technology they could piggy back off of? I have no respect for bought or borrowed technology.

    What the hell are you talking about? Dave Turner came out first with the rocker design. He also worked with Horst of the Horst Link fame. He is known as one of the pioneers in the industry. Also, many mountain bike companies have used acquired technology/patent at one time or another, like Intense (VPP), Santa Cruz (VPP), Specialized (HL), Ibis (DW), Iron Horse (DW), etc.
