Do any of you guys/gals know how Turnbull typically is after the rains? Should it be rideable tomorrow afternoon? I'm hoping to squeeze in a ride before more rain comes but I'll wait if it will damage/rut out the trail. THANKS!!
Sup C. I wouldn't go anywhere near Turnbull. It turns into a muddy mess. The kind of mud that packs up between your tires and frame/fork and stops you dead in your tracks. Cleaning your bike after is even more of a pain. I made the mistake back when I didn't know any better. I would stick to the Fully Loop. You might want to bypass the damn area though. You will have the same problem as Turnbull. Edit: The railroad track section and part of the golf section will be muddy too. You can just go straight past the drop in to the railroad tracks and do a short loop. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3359803
I rode there tonight and the ground is moist but no puddles anywhere. No mud at all stuck to my tires. Go ride it!
Joe! Thanks for the feedback man. I have a lot more fun at Turnbull so I might have to try it out tomorrow since HatTrick says its a green light!:bang:
