Tree Down : Whiting Ranch

    On the single track one way going toward Mustard we came across a tree that has fallen on the trail. Only way around it is to climb over.

    yeah, climbed over it yesterday. didn't even think to 'report' it! tks! (actually, forgot about it by rides end as it's at the beginning!)

    Cool, have you ever started Whiting at the Serrano Creek Trail? I did yesterday it adds about 10 miles to the trip and gives you a great warm up and the ride back is all DH. All you have to do is enter through Trabucco, there is free parking at the Ralphs. I will be posting pictures and a full ride report later on.

    By the way if you look closely in the pic you can see someone climbing over is it any one from STR?

    Just got back from my TAV patrol in Whiting. Seems someone has already removed the tree.

    Thanks to who ever did. It was a nice day for a ride. I love having the mornings off, only saw 3 other riders and 2 hikers. The weather was perfect. :D

    It was either a Sheriff or Ranger who moved it, I rode through there the other day and he was just finishing up picking up the small branches.
