Trail riding with the kids.

You left out that I gave the kids a first rate lesson on how to eat crap on a 2' high double, but they also got to see how to play it off like your just resting! It was fun my kids loved it Conner will be stoked on that picture. See you guys on the next one.

 

Anyone riding with the kids on Saturday? Will any kid-friendly areas be rideable? We have Sat afternoon available to ride.

 

It rained fairly hard here toaday.... I know all OC parks are closed and no updates on reopening. I wont be able to ride this Saturday, but will be next weekend. Anyone else got anything going this weekend or next? FYI, Your kids would LOVE Fairview park, great prooving grounds with a lot of jumps

 

Fairview is the one down in Costa Mesa that longboarderj showed? It does look great!

 

Yup, it's great. Its great for confidence building on jumps and burms. I went out there with them last Wednesday, spent around 3hrs playing around. I'd be interested in going there next weekend if you guys have time... I'm really tied up this weekend. #-o

 

We'd love to go there. Let's plan on it for next weekend and set details later on.

 

We could probably do Fairview next weekend in the morning around 7:30am, I have to be at the shop by 10:00am on the weekends.

 

We're in. It would most definitely need to be on Saturday. Am or Pm works fine for me. Redwoods, if you can manage 730am Saturday that would be best then we could plan an adult ride afterwords @ oaks or something...

Whiting Ranch (Advanced kid ride). I'm going to take Jonathan through the entire park on this ride and it will be his 1st attempt at Mustard!
We will be meeting at the Main entrance to whiting (I'll be parking in the OCparks parking area) by the restrooms @ 4pm

This will be a fun, go as you please pace that usually lasts 2-3hrs! Tons of jumps, singletrack trails for practice and a few spots to practice DH. Great place for the kids and parents to pickup some skills practice while having an ABSOLUTE BLAST! The time flies at this place, never a dull moment!

We can't make Whiting (Conners not ready), but might ride El Moro on Wednesday afternoon @ around 4:00pm. We will definitely see you guys on Saturday.

 

In for this Sat! We did 11 miles at Yorba Regional/SART on Saturday, and the family keeps talking about riding again...looking for dirt this time!

 

Just found out that the wife has a training certification this Saturday we will probably not make it to Fairview.

 

BUMMER! Jonathan's been talking about it all week. Maybe another time...

My wifes training got postponed until April 6th, we're back in.
