Sorry to hear that you'll be sidelined for so long, Mark. Injuries are a drag! Here's hoping you'll heal-up quickly and be able to ride again soon.

Very sorry to hear this, grasshopper Mark!

They say that there is a reason for everything that happens ... if that is true (and I believe this) then perhaps something good will come out of this ... maybe, just maybe there is another door opening for you here. Right now, it sucks... like most will say but you have it within you to make something positive come out of this. Don't know what that is but keep your options open...

In the meantime continue healing... the trails will always be waiting.

Well you finally went and put the boot on... Tough choice I know but in the long run you will be better off... I had a lot of fun at the races with a broken foot in early 08, just get a really big cow bell

Heal up my brotha... PWR needs you out there..

Thanks for the encouragement, Gregg! I agree with you 100%......something good will come out of this. At least my pilates instructor was able to work around the injury. Not seeing her for a few months would be mental torture

aaahhhh, J-Drop claims another victim. Heal up! If it's any consolation, here's what my leg looks like after Friday's run down J-Drop due to grinding it along the wall of that deep rut. But it's merely a flesh wound...

See, Mark, there's a silver lining around every cloud... Now you can hone your skillz with the ladies (excellent though they are already) and get some sympathy back rubs, leg rubs, etc.;)

    Get well soon though!

Thanks, Kristine. I'll be at the finish line at the VQ/CC cheering you all on!

I got a ton of attention from all the girls at the pilates studio this evening ;)

Mark - It's good to hear the boot is doing something positive for you. Hope your ankle heals up very quickly. Sounds like you may be in business renting the boot out to Mfoga.

If anyone is interested, I have a pair of crutches and a boot for rent! All in excellent condition. GUARANTEED to get you tons of attention! Used only for 3 months while I was recovering from my Achilles tendon surgery.

Mark, hope all goes well and heal quickly. I just rode my bike for the first time in over 4 months on Sunday. It was a short 6-7 mile loop, but man it felt great! I know exactly how you must be feeling right now.

That's right Mark work the sympathy angle dude! 3MO will go faster than you think. Besides you'll be ready just in time for that great spring and summer riding.
