Torn ACL/Right Knee

    I was given a CPM machine for home use pretty much the day after my surgery. I was on that thing as much as possible. Wasn't too hard, as I had all the time in the world each day during recovery. Watched a lot of dvd's. At that time, I lived in a house with three other people, so someone was always around to hang out with.

    Injuries in our passion is part of the game, be positive focused, follow the PT as everyone said, try some different things for a while ...kayak...hike... swim...you will be fine.

    And most of all .... don't do anything stupid early on the recovery! patience and hard work is the key.

    Man i've been putting off my acl surgery on my left knee since '04. Reading all these comments has really got me thinking about biting the bullit and getting it done. But really ive been able to ride my bike/moto/and still bodyboard so its not really on my top list. my mind is thinking about it now. Good luck w your surgery.
