Went OTB on Rock It in Laguna last Sunday. Came down on my left side, shoulder, head and thigh. I rode out, hit the bar at Beachcomber and iced it all day. It progressively got worse to the point where I could barely walk on it, could barely flex it/bend it and is now just getting a bit better. I have more flexibility in it now but its still weak and give me issues when I stretch is straight. The one thing that trips me out is it never bruised up, no discoloration at all.

I have a Crested Butte epic planned leaving Sept 5th for a week of riding and I'm getting worried. Did a little road spin the other day and it agrivated me a bit. Anyone ever taken a hit like this? :-s

Landed hard on my hip once at Turnbull. Took a piece of the solid ground with me when I hit. Took a few days to bruise and stayed bruised for a few weeks. It was sore and weak feeling for days after and I seriously thought I had fractured something in my hip. Pedaling was agony for a couple of weeks as were the bucket seats in my car (especially working the clutch). It got better eventually and even while it still hurt a few miles in the saddle and I'd forget it til I stopped and sat down. Haven't tried that roller to the fireroad at turnbull since.

I had a slightly sore glute from a fall at Hurkey that showed no bruising for about 7 days. Got on the stair stepper at the gym for about 20 minutes and it became hugely sore, swelled and started bruising the next day. Took about 2-3 weeks to feel right and I still don't know why the stair stepper made it go off.

I take a short night ride in Montrose, every night around 11pm. May help you. Msg me. It starts at the beginning of Honolulu, to
Whiting Woods and back to Rocky Cola Cafe. Anyone else feels the need, let me know. I ride with flip flops.

Between My Way, Leo's, The Mix, Avignons, Joselitos, Fat Dog and Pepe's, I'd say Honolulu at 11pm is a nice way to get hit by a drunk :drunk:

I am an early rider, 530-6 pm call times so I'm fast asleep by 11 but I'll look out for you when I'm out drinking!

I'm starting to think I dont have any other issues than just a deep bruise but now that I'm 30, also thinking things dont heal as fast as they used to :(
