    Just curious on how are people suppose to answer a question when a thread is moved all the way at the end of the discussion instead of starting a new one?

    The merged thread is still bumped to the top. Members that have already read the thread are smart enough to scroll to the new post(s).

    Certain topics that are repeatedly posted are generally grouped together to keep the knowledge database in one place. In this case, the Tire Review thread is a sticky at the top of the forum.
