    sxc70 - cool trailer!

As for the rest of this: FARK! This will be the third year in a row I've wanted to go on this trip, but can't.
This event seems cursed for me :-(

I went to Sycamore the other day and drove by the preferred camp sites. I hope to get up there early Friday but I may not be the first one there.
Someone tell the ranger at the entrance gate that there is a group called STR or Liz's Bitch's, I mean, Liz's group camping for the weekend!
The ranger can then place us all in the same area.
    The sites are 22-24-25-26-29-30-31-32.
If those sites are taken, I thought the sites around 11-16-12-13-14-15-17 were pretty nice.
Don't forget to charge your lights for a sunset ride on Friday!

AT this point I think I'm in, and will be riding from home with a bob trailer. Question is, what route to get there? Road or dirt? I have some time to think about it. Berni, we should talk~!

Steve if you bike in they have very nice bike sites that you do not need to reserve. They save them for the bike tourers.

    Thanks for the offer ED.
Steve at this point I'm not sure if I'll ride or drive in. Back then I wasn't working, so planned to ride in friday. If I have to work friday I'll probably drive there from work.
Last year when I bike packed to Sycamore I used one of their bike in/hike in sites $7 a night.

From E rock, glendale to orange line (20 minutes), then follow burbank blvd 1hr to Platt to Valley circle to Calabasas road to Mureal road to Las Virgines rd till you hit Agoura rd. Follow that to TO blvd to Hillcrest, to Wendy (1hr). follow Wendy enter park on trailhead. Follow double trac to paved road, down the black bitch about 5 miles till it turns dirt, take two foxes left down canyon to site 29 (30 minutes). Set up under sycamore trees. Three low saddles and a lot of riding esp across the valley on the yellow line. there are a couple short cuts if your interested. Looks like I road ride too does it not? You can ride sycamore on a road bike with the bob no problem.

If we get a good amount this week and then more next week that will be no good. Sycamore Canyon stays wet for some time after rain.
