Tempting... I was the slow guy with the beer belly on the Blur, Sunday at your Holy Jim ride. This is a lot more miles. Neil or Geoff might know if you guys will regret your 'no drop' policy if I show up. Or if I should buy lights to find my way out. My math on the ascent/miles shows me coming down in the dark. I'm a morning rider and this is a new trail to me. Not sure if I should try it tomorrow; or save it for another time for the benefit of all.

edit: I'm staring out the window at 7:48pm you guys must be equipped with lights for these Thursday rides. I just assumed Summer and all was a quick spin at dusk.

 

You are correct, the Thursday night rides require lights.

This ride is a no-drop ride, open to all ages and all riding levels. Bring a strong headlight and taillight for safe night riding!

THIS WEEK'S RIDE 8/4/2011:San Juan Trail. Meet at the trailhead by 8PM. Ride leads: Brandi and Neil.
Ride route: We'll start at the bottom, do a moderately paced ride up to Cocktail Rock, then we're "getting loose" on the way back down!

That's a great idea! I hope others can make the meeting too. Since the meeting starts at 7PM and the shop closes after 7, we unfortunately won't be able to make it in time.
