The Path Bike Shop Thursday Evening Dirt

Most people will park near the Christmas tree lot just after turning onto Blackstar Cyn, then pedal the ~2/3 mi. to the gate. It's fairly remote down at the gate itself and quite dark after sunset, and folks feel their vehicles are a bit more secure up the road a bit.

What is the pace for the ride gonna be like?

 

It's a fun ride. Pace can be either quick with the front group, mellow with the middle group, or slow with the stragglers...... Or really slow sitting at Cooks having a beer.

Either way, you will have fun. Show up and ride.

Park as close to the "cage" as you can if its not open. If it is open, park in there.

Please park as far from the bar as possible, that is the plan they would like followed.

Does anyone have the location of the trail head? How many miles is the trail from the path?
I might be down if its not too far. Google maps kept showing me a location by LA.

Directions:

From Santiago Canyon Road turn on Silverado Canyon Road. Make a left on Black Star Canyon Road. Drive until you reach the locked gate. Park anywhere here off the side of the road. Parking is free.

 

Was just wondering if any one could show me the meeting spot for the maple/4corners motorway ride on google maps? As I am having some difficulty finding it. Would parking at the Christmas tree farm be reasonable?
