Everyone has already filled you in on the pace, thanks folks! That being said, all of our rides are no-drop rides, so never worry about being left behind, because it will not happen.

For any of us who might want to link up at the trailhead (i.e., can't get out of work early enough to meet at the shop), where do you all park at Oaks? And, what time does the caravan typically roll up? There's more than one way of "entry" into the park, from what I know. Thanks!

 

I usually see the path ride start at Santiago hills park.

hey sprankle I get out of class late but want to make that ride. If your down to start a little later than 430 maybe we can try to catch them?

Does anyone know the address of where to park and meet for this Thursday's Blackstar ride? I haven't ridden there before and I'm not sure where to go.

 

The board said to meet at the Blackstar Gate. I'm assuming you would park right there. Look up blackstar canyon road. When you turn from Santiago Canyon onto silverado canyon, hang a quick left onto blackstar canyon road. The road deadends into blackstar gate, so park anywhere along there.

Directions:

From Santiago Canyon Road turn on Silverado Canyon Road. Make a left on Black Star Canyon Road. Drive until you reach the locked gate. Park anywhere here off the side of the road. Parking is free.
