I totally dig the fact we have races that are so close home.

On the road issue, I wasn't there but this just seems so silly. They drive their damn 4x4 trucks on every road out there yet they just have to have this one road a singletrack now. They couldn't wait till after your races this summer are over? They wouldn't have needed the fence if the races were over and if they did it right by planting appropriately and maintenance by next year they could have staked it instead.

The course was coo but the table tops and berm would have been cool to ride in the beginner class. as far as the bottle neck hill climb...that can be improved by a whole lot. Great people out there cheering....although the music that we are used to was missing :(

Good times! The bottle neck area happens every year but this time the fence did put a damper on things but I didn't hear any bad attitudes. Everyone has always been very supportive and polite out there (in my experience). We had one close call in the beginning on the DH return of the bottleneck section where a guy over shot the turn and almost took out the girl in front of me. I can't remember who it was but it was a scary moment. The new features are fun. So cool and exciting that the womens group keeps growing! I was thinking I might only be doing 1 or 2 this season but I think it might turn into a few more!

    Really guys; NOTHING????

E.T. and I had a blast. I probably would have been better off racing a class that only has to do 2 loops, but WTH.....nobody can kick your arse like your own bad self ;)

Great times out there last night. Thanks everyone :)

I saw you out on the course..... I wanted to give you a shout out and say hello, but I was afraid I would 1) throw up or B) get my tongue stuck in my spokes. I forgot how much OTH hurt.

OK, here's something.... Seeing the Walfat on the OTH course (three laps? Really?) made all the hurt worth it!

Enjoyed last night more than the first due to it being less crowded. But why is it the people that don't show up are always the ones that finish BEHIND me?

Isa is finally getting her race pace. Stand by for the rest of the series. If this work thing will stop getting in the way, I will be out for a race or two.

The climb is still there if they run it that direction, but the pipe was removed. Its too bad... It gave you a nice kick when going down hill.

I can't wait for Tuesday! I love racing. Pushing myself, the feeling of accomplishment and then seeing my time and realizing I suck.

If you feel that you Suck, at least suck efficiently = ) You should try different techniques! Good steady performance on first lap, second and third lap, stand up on all big climbs, witch its only two either direction (fitness and personal gearing via legs-should eat that up). CW use bigger gear, CCW use smaller gear! For Example- I used 1X system, 32ring 11-36 CCW 34ring 11-36 CW... Just a thought.

Im not a trainer or coach, just sharing what worked for me.

I suck in that I think I'm a far better rider than I actually am. I really love racing and am always looking for the next one, but always go home humbled, but proud.
