Ill be there. how was the dirt?

 

To tell you the truth I though it would be stickier because it rained a few days before, but all-in-all it was nice. No "racers lung" from sucking in all the dust. Course is nice with some fun uphill technical bits (rocked and off camber switch backs). HT's definitely have the advantage on 2 segments of asphalt uphill, and some fire road straights. Full suspensions will glide down the single track technicals. It's about 3/4 single track so passing is "fun" but be careful of bottlenecks for people that dismount.

Mostly the people (riders) made the race extra fun! I didn't see one "jerk" and everyone was very polite if they needed to pass, with a "Thanks man!, Have fun!" and helpful and respectful if a rider stopped, and cognizant in getting to the side and not blocking. Everyone gathered after race and shared stories of their ride... Great fun!!

Well DH is his bread and butter, plus how could you have practice if the DH race was sat?

 

^ I dont do much DH, but i could give it a shot. Interested in XCountry race - but i work on Saturdays, that's why this came about.

OK, first timer here, my ten year old son wants to race DH. What time should I get there on Saturday to practice, and how long does the practice go? What time do the races start on Sunday? Wish they had some sort of itinerary on their website. Can't really tell when to get there, etc.
