so... do you got the blue/yellow/green bruise colors yet on your shoulder/chest? BTDT - and my freaking collarbone area was Paisley with bruises for 6 weeks! LOL Heal up mang! (let us know if your capable of driving a shuttle vehicle  :-k )
No colors yet, but I dont remember any last time either. :?: No shuttle driving but maybe can be convinced in a few weeks or after I get a clavicle collar so I can lose this sling.
Heard about your fall when i stopped by for the finish of the 24...bummer. Glad you're not banged up any worse than you are! Hope the painkillers are doing their job; stop by roscoe's and we'll get you some of the non-prescription ones!
Damn bro, I didnt even see this til right now.... (this site has become a cluster f**k), sorry to hear about the shoulder.... you could always be cowbell'n during the winter series..... heal up man.....
The Fullerton Loop is like a ninja. When you know it is going to strike you, it's too late. Since it's the trail I ride the most, I won't take any unnecessary risks (especially when I ride solo). On the bright side, at least you don't need an airlift out of the loop.
No pics but its the little one at the begining of the Golf Course section. Its not big I just didnt get any pop I think.
that's the SAME EXACTLY part where i ate it a year ago!!! Right after the railroad track on the side of the golf course I too got some good air but my landing was a bit off and I ate shit BAD!!! Luckily for me I didn't break anything though! Ever since then I take that part SUPER slow to make sure that i DONT get any air at all. Healing Vibes!
This is that hill you come over at the beginning but on the left there jump build part way down the hill making it a jump. Had i jumped off the hill I would have been better since i couldnt come up short.
So I decided to finally go get a new X-ray to see how things were going, and what I saw was what I expected but not what I wanted to see. This time its healing better then the last time at least after just short of 2 months there is some connectivity between the bones but its not very close to being healed. This kinda sucks since I thought I could start riding more but I am tying to be safe and not rebreak what healing I have done if I have a light fall. Guess I will be sticking to road for while more.
Make sure it heals all the way inside and out before you stress it again!!! Curtis broke his while racing DH in New Zealand and it hasn't been the same since. It healed on the outside but not inside and he wrecked numerous times after that and it still isn't right, several years later.
Yeah I learned my lesson last time when after two months it was still completely broken and I had been snowboarding for 2-3 weeks already. I didn't care and kept doing my thing and now after it finally healed its close to 3/4 of an inch shorter the before and has and will continue to cause shoulder issues for the rest of my life. I do know that if I do break one every again I am requesting surgery I am tired of this waiting game.
