Dislocated shoulder half mile from the court house, at the very end of the ride. Me and SteveC saw it all. Hope you heal quick James, he just made an STR account but I forgot what his name is.

It is, usually the back tire, quickly followed by your ass and both feet before impact.

It is not in the air, it is that many learn to ride at the loop the crashing is part of learning, loop gets more use than any other OC trail, and more experienced riders just don't pay as much attention on a "easy" ride like the loop.

Not to bring bad karma on myself but this stuff always baffles me as to how so many people wreck themselves so bad on this ride

It's actually quite easy. You get lazy, people ride so many times and they lose focus and something catches you out.

The loop is on ancient Indian burial ground...

The loop is not really beginner friendly, like its made out to be... The loop was never designed by intelligent thought, it is the leftovers of urban development and sprawl, "scotch'ed-taped" together. It is cool that in the middle of Fullerton, there is a multi-use trail like that, but I'm afraid to take utter newbs to that thing.

Maybe the LOOP could be the Freeride/DH park that SoCal so desperately needs.
