^^ Could of been mother nature- However, some sections of Luge had good size boulders sticking out- now are gone. Especially the very last rocky section at the bottom and the beginning of the first sharp chicanes at the top, where some tree roots were stick out. I crashed really bad on that turn 2weeks ago, this destroyed my rear wheel.

I did see evidence of some roosters towards Luge (very light), My thinking lead me to believe, who did the clean up on Luge and Luge only, was traveling via moto = )

All my PR's on Sunday, were broken by 6 or 10seconds and they all were from March/April of this year.

Whomever worked on STT before the flag and Luge, thank you thank you thank you (is that you kioti?)

There's a jump (now) on the rocky descent before the flag; couldn't resist it and had to get some air!! The Luge is in phenomenal shape - if I was a Strava ho, I would've timed myself...I think it was my fastest time yet.

^ So the maintenance looked Fresh (Stt/luge been good lately) ?

Jump on the last rocky decent you are referring too is, the one before the banked right turn facing the Flag ?

    Thanks.

Mario: it looked to be fresh trail work. And yes, the jump is right before the first right bank.

It wasn't me! But that's cool, I've been out of town and too busy to do trail work. I know.. impossible! But I did get out yesterday and do some preliminary work on a new berm on Meadows, in Aliso. Its going to take more rain and test rides to finalize, but at least it's started. Think I'm going to go check it out!

Well Hertzy, if you traveled outside of Aliso, you'd be amazed of what's out there...lol

Everything is relative... more proper should have been biggest / drop into the left hand banked turn ;)

Just doing my job as resident smartass! I love the section you describe. We did some brushwork there last year 'cause the visibility is a little sketchy, but the berm after the "drop" was holding strong (which I think Kioti installed about 3 years ago). Glad to hear the part above was cleaned up a little and the right hand berm reinforced a little. I'll test it tomorrow. Yes Roxy, I am wandering nearly 30 minutes from home! And thanks for the understanding props.

I had a great ride over there today including a fast romp down The Luge, but I didn't see the new jump people were talking about on the descent of STT above the flag but before you get to it. Is it past the flag, on the way down from Old Camp, or was I just going so bloody fast that I didn't see it?

Just as you start the descent, in the rocky/chunky section, there's a jump on the right, right before the right bank. It's in a perfect spot to transition from air to banking...most awesome!!
