So I crashed 1.5 weeks ago. Bruised, battered and scarred on the hips, shoulders, knee, arm and shoulders. Painful, but just rubbed dirt on it. Been riding, hiking, just doing the regular stuff, albeit with some discomfort. Woke up monday all my bruises are gone. Wounds are healing good. But the pinky finger is still deformed, and my ribs are getting more painful by the day. Went to my doctor, and its confirmed. Fractured finger and cracked ribs. Got a bottle pain meds, a splint on the finger and a rib belt. BCOT! 12 weeks of rest, yeah right
!2 weeks! pssssh take whatever the doc says and divide by two. I had surgery on my elbow this week because of a crash last year and they told me 2 to 3 weeks of rest so I am giving it a week However I hate to bum you out about your ribs but I cracked a few back in early april and i am just now not feeling it anymore. Ribs take 4ever! to heal. Hope you are back in the saddle soon.
