Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if if these trails are closed due to the station fire? if they're open, has anyone ridden them lately and know the current conditions of these trails?
    thanks.

Whoa, I was in the process of messaging one of the locals about Rim Trail. Good timing!

Sturtevant trail from Skyline Park is open last I heard. Pretty steep for the first couple miles coming down. Rideable in spots, and just plain loose in others.

Rim Trail has been on my todo list forever now as it's one of the few I haven't done, and appears to be a great way to link up some other stuff back there. I'm trying to plan a 2 day route in this area that has us camping at Sturtevant Camp overnight.

I rode Rim Trail well over a year ago and it was significantly deteriorated. Unless there has been trail maint. I wouldn't recommend it. When the trail is maintained, it's just an awesome trail.
Any guys from OTB know the current condition of this trail?
