Yeah I saw the lack of speed into it and watched it just go up and over! Sorry if I had know it was you I would have stated "what the hell were you thinking?" LMAO
You of all people know better than to trudge into anything remotely gnarly with no speed!

Im glad all is well, I think we all go blank from time to time! Not that Roger isnt a good guy but Id have guessed him before you! LMAO Sorry R had a spare elbow to spread some dig in the ribs! :D:D:D:D

The video makes it look even slower than we were actually going!!! My problem with that section is that I never have enough entrance speed to make it through smoothly. Oh well, it's my trials background (motorcycle) that gives me grief, I always preferred slow, technical stuff. Doesn't work so well on a DH bike. I guess I need to learn how to track stand!!! ;)

    no, I'm just a jerk :?:

but yeah, it's totally public, just check out denmo's link. definitely a great place to go brush up on your technical skills.

but seriously, I'm not lying about the VOR, the access road for that is the shuttle road. anyone with an aviation map can find the trails within about 100 feet

umm, depends on if it's a private shuttle, if you self shuttle, or what. not completely sure on the prices, check with denmo on that.

shuttle's not bad though, it's a few minutes, and another 5 minute HaB to the top from there. more than worth it for 1800 feet of super sweet DH though :bang:

Ok, so do they have a private shuttle service at all, or do you have to set up your own all the time?

The local bike shop has a paid shuttle service. It is seasonal so you have to call to find out the availability. http://www.allmountaincyclery.com/shuttles.html Otherwise you have to provide your own. You can drive up and leave a vehicle at the top but it is best not to park where the shuttle truck does their drop off!!! There are various pick up spots but you have to drive down a dirt road for a ways before you get to them.

You are special!!!! ;) Prices are listed on the link I provided!!!
