That explains the clicking noise every time I moved(Hurkey Creek injury report)

Most of you who went to the Hurkey Creek know I went down on Ernie Maxwell's. It hurt after I fell, but today, the pain was really bad so I skipped out on the rides up Thomas Mtn and other rides going on today. After I got home home and off loaded everything, I went to Urgent care. I just got back from the Doctor's and the x-rays revealed my 10th right rib broken. #-oI guess I should be thankful that it wasn't splintered cause it could have punctured my lung or kidney. Besides, I finished the ride (most of it anyway- I bailed on the last 3 miles). So aside from the break, everything else is cool. The Doctor made sure I was breathing ok(lung checked) and asked if I was urinating blood(kidney check). It will take 6 weeks to heal, but that's just the standard number they throw out for most breaks. She told me I'd probably be riding in less than 2, but that's if it doesn't hurt to breath. She gave me a note to get out of work for a week. :bang:So I'll just relax and heal a bit. On a postive note, my knees don't hurt at all. Thanks to all for all the concern, Advils and other pain killers. I'll be back before you know it.

unfortunatley I know what its like to bail on a day of roadtrip riding due to wreckage. hurts almost as much as the injury.
