My IT guy at work just updated my Internet Explorer to V.8 and now whenever I try to thank any posts I get the following message imediately under their post and before the next:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

Anyone else get this or seen this before? Thanks!

(And oh yeah "Thanks" in advanced or until I get home since I can't "Thank" anymore at work! LOL)

LOL now it's working sporadically! I was able to thank the UT RR post, and go back and thank the post I was trying to thank in the DG Forum but unable to "thank" shu's post above! So weird...

ehhh let me have a word with your IT guy. I'm the IT guy at my place and we don't use IE.. at all(Security Reasons & its just plain awful). I forced everyone to use Firefox. We've NEVER had a problem it.

If you aren't allowed to install programs on your computer use Firefox portable
    http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
Extract it to My Documents or something and run the exe(Firefox logo) or save it on a USB drive.

It's not his fault, it's my employers. They refuse to pay for anything but the OLD version of I.E. I dunno why he updated mine, but everyone else has the really out of date version.

Edit (in response to post below): No way around it. He is just following orders. There is an entire IT department, not just him, he has no choice. Sucks big time but can't really do anything about it.

Anyone else have any reasons or solutions for my OP? Thanks

hahah my office is like that too, so they have me pirate everything or run free software, like Firefox! But IE is free from Microsoft...
Its completely free no worries, and its 100x better than IE.
Talk your IT Guy, I'm surprised he even has you guys using IE, personally I wouldn't touch IE with a 20 foot nor would anyone in the IT field, unless there was absolutely no way around it =/
