I haven't had my bike — 2008 Giant Trance X1 — for very long but I wanted to upgrade. I ride the Fullerton Loop every Thursday night with the crew so Dino told me to stop by and check out a Demo bike — 2012 Giant Reign 1 — they had at the shop. They swapped out my pedals, I left my bike there and had the demo for the weekend. Mike mentioned that it was going to be for sale, and told me a price and other details that were included in the sale. I pretty much told him I wanted it before I even saw it because it was such a smokin' deal! It was an easy transition since the bikes are pretty similar, but the ~1.5° head-tube angle difference and extra 1" of travel was definitely noticeable going down The Luge. I took it back and told them I was sure I wanted it, so they got it all cleaned up and ready for me to purchase. It basically looks and rides like a brand new bike.

These guys are fantastic to work with (when together it's basically and comedy duo routine), and I will continue to get any bike related products from them. I have already told all of my friends to go to Fullerton Bicycles before they go anywhere else, too.

    Thanks, Guys!

Awesome bike. Looks like you were excited when you were at the ship getting the details sorted out!

Happy to hear you like the bike. The reign is a great do all bike and after going to Big Bear that bike is a perfect fit for some DH runs.

I would refer to it as "Sanford and Sons" or "all in the family"

great bike. i have one too. the 32mm fork will soon not be enough for that bike though. i went to a 160mm 36 and it was night and day.

I demoed the bike Froader purchased. Very impressed with the way it gripped the terrain / railed corners!!! I was fine with the 32mm fork. Can't even imagine how awesome the bike would be with a Lyrik / Fox 36 / Marz 55!!!! 8-[

I'd definitely like to upgrade the fork, but for now it's working just fine. Maybe when I sell my other bike I'll look into forks.
