I was diagnosed with Testicular cancer one month ago, went into surgery and they removed the testicle. during the Cat-scan they also found 3 lymph on my pelvis, and they will be removed with chemotherapy. I cant ride for the moment cause I have to wait 2 months because of the surgery. has anyone gone thru this? what has being your experience? thanks
This has been brought up before. I have a good friend who is a survivor and been tested cancer free for a few years. They took his THE NEXT DAY after an ultrasound, and did a full torso lymphectomy. Hed say take the most aggressive treatment you can survive, because nut-cancer is. Pm me if you want me to put you in touch Guys, check your nuts! Roughly. Get to know them and pay attention to any bumps, lumps, or unexplained soreness. If anything changes, go tobyour Dr. Immediately!
my bro had it in early 90's. went thru surgery and chemo, has been cancer free since. you should be good to go soon. take care be positive. its all good.
Been there done that had finished treatment this time last year . I will pm you my info tommorow as im typing on my phone right now. is good to talk to others that have been through it
How old were you guys when you detected it? Healing vibes! Just think of the bright side, you have one less to crunch or accidently sit on when you ride. http://www.livestrong.org/ You'll do great.
Best of luck and I pulling for you. I had different type and did chemo in 09. Had to stay off the bike for about 10 months just could not do it. Went to the gym and rode the stationary to try and stay in some kind of shape and keep the mind straight. Chemo is hard but you can do it, try and connect with others, eat right be positive.Positive vibes being sent.

My mom fought a different cancer of course and lived a happy 12 years after that. I'll keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery it will only make you stronger. If there is anything I understand it's a tough battle and only tough people can understake this. Talking to others about it will get you through it and it will help others. My hat off to you for your honesty and courage. My prayers are with through this time.
My brother in law is going through the same thing. I hope the treatment works and the cancer is gone forever.
