I would definitely be interested in joining you. From your pictures it seems like it would be a nice change from SRP. Sunday morning would be my preference.

Hi, it sounds like we should target Sunday.

When it gets shored up better, I will shoot everyone directions and the meeting spot (which can be a local Winery that serves a good lunch, but it adds 1.71 mile of mild 300 ft climb and you get to ride through vinyards).

If you ride on Sunday, how would it be for a trailer with 2 kids? ( I've taken them on the loop at Vail before)

I just got back and there are no bugs to speak of. There can be gnats in places, like everywhere, if its really hot and dry in the summer, but your up at 2600+- ft. in winter so not so much. Sorry you cant make it.

I prefer riding the area in late afternoon with more shade and shadows, but I'm open to whenever.

    Cool find today.

I did some exploring today on a hike with my dog, and found what could become some singletrack'ish add ons (2 -4 miles with some steep descents). They may have been nice hiking trails at one time but some sections are now just to massively eroded. I need to hike them tomorrow with my trusty Lamberton Rake to see if the erosion damage can be repaired by the weekend. I kinda doubt it, but it will certainly make a worthy project (or we could just try em anyway :)

So what's the verdict, meet at the winery in the morning or evening (and is everyone good with Sunday)?
