"A beautiful night for a ride" is what 21 other riders and I thought...a "regular ride" with none of Gabes "i know of a great trail". Things were going fine until Chewy takes a fall down the "rabbit hole" ...following Gabe #-o. Elevator cleaned by Gabe :clap:...you would thing this was a Gabe ride. Lots of attempts but all failed. A mechanical took 2 riders away, Bees swarming but no stings. Andy rockin the stairs and then the downhill section on fenceline...we were all wondering "what happen to Chewy?" A few moments go by and then we find out that he "Fell Down and Went Boom" Looked like a seperated shoulder...looked really painful and we all hope for the best for him. Nan took him to hospital (with her brownies #-o)
Meanwhile back at the batcave, err fish house, we got to witness an 8 taco barrage by Andy...You rule :bang: We hope you feel better tomorrow...a Hugh sighting, fun conversation as usual...

interesting night and I can't wait to see what happens next week...

 

Chewy fell maybe that was what everyone else felt as an aftershock.:lol:

Seriously hopefully he is ok. Separated shoulders suck I have separated both of mine in the last few months and neither are right still but getting better.

We all wish Chewy much pain relief tonight and the days that follow. He hit so hard ... okay, I will be nice... he crashed and burned and put the hurt on. Only now I am stuck with 3 batches of brownies :-k (I hope Ken checks his windshield before leaving the fish house) Good luck on finals, now studying will not be interrupted with riding, bummer.

I heard that Andy put away 8 tacos :clap: Now who will go for 9. I just want to know if he had anything to drink

Tonight was the easy route, chick ride vibe, I guess we have truly been invaded... and it wasn't even Gabe's fault. Better luck next time Gabe.

Unfortunately, we have no pics of tonight, you see I have had a goofy week, it started with making brownies during an earthquake and watching my refrigerator do jumping jacks, and then slicing my thumb so i can't hit the shift key when I text and that is why I forgot my camera... no it is not supposed to make sense.

I am not supposed to be posting this late at night cuz I say stupid things so I gotta go. Good Night

 

I only wish I had my brownies with me, maybe we could have had faster service at the ER or at least made friends with my emergency waiting room neighbors.

I heard we really missed some serious brittle!!!

Yep the Chewsters number got called big time. I missed seeing the crash, just saw the aftermath. I don't envy the pain homeboy was in. But I'm glad to see all the folks riding tonight rally up and help get him to the ER. Unfortunately, the ER was pretty packed and it took a long while to get him in. He did managed to beat out the other guy waiting with the bandaged head who was vomitting.

At least we got to watch the end of the Laker game at the hospital too. Anyhow, we left Chewster with his Dad and his private room in the ER getting worked on.

PS you owe me $4 bucks for that inner tube we used to make a sling.

BTW. Is this the same rabbit whole on the left side of the trail in front of Irvine Park? It swallowed me up as well a few weeks back and my shoulder is still a little sore.

Taco Tuesday, Beth's Birthday Ride & Fully Loop have caused more Hospital visits lately than "real" rides

 

Very true. I injured myself on the Fullerton loop back in the late 80's and again in about 2001. It's such an easy ride you don't pay attention.
