    Since the level of jackassery reaches a fever pitch whenever Tom (Proraptor) and I get together, sometimes we get a word stuck in our heads and randomly say it on the trail. For the past few rides, it has been "sausages" (said with the lispiest lisp you can muster)

    As we are churning up a hill the war cry of sausages is exchanged between Tom and I. All the sudden, I hear a female voice asking if girls can say sausages on the trail. Of course they can I say, and she lets the word fly "Sausages!"

    Now, I'm not 100% sure if that was the lady that wrote the story or word, the word, just spread to her but it somehow ended up in her wonderful write up.

    That's how I remember it!

    good for you guys for actually posting a ride on the calendar--unlike 99.9% of the people on here. big group rides are ventures fraught with peril, but it sounds like fun prevailed. keep up the good work.

    btw- that's a krappy shot of BFR. when i rolled up to the top and peeked over it was almost vertical. must be a bad camera...
