    Carry a bottle of lube (and a rag or paper towels) with ya in case your drive train gets mucked up and starts shifting poorly. It really sucks going through a wet section then have a climb right after and suffer from frequent chain suck (when the chain rides the chain ring up its backside then jams between the rings and the chainstay).

    News is saying 37. It warms quickly but I'm still going to layer up. I'm taking the ss to avoid that shifting issue. I haven't rode the poor girl in over a year. I can hear her whimper every weekend that I leave with another bike, she'll be so happy this morning when she's the one I through a leg over! Hell, I'm even going to give her a little lube.

    I got out here a little early. Grey clouds with the sun trying to break through. On the colder side, but should be fine with a few layers on. My guess is around 40 degrees.

    it was a great day out at Sycamore CYN and it was a pleasure riding with 52 riders,as this was the bigest group i'v ever rolled with.Hope you all had a great time and here are the pics i have.
