Seems like I have been crashing a lot lately. I was riding Santiago Oaks and missed one of the turns on Zips/Chutes. The one where you should take the right line, and I came in way too fast and went straight, heading for a rut and then a slide of about 15 feet.

Anyways...When I got home I found out why people kept saying I got sprayed.

Tried to make it smaller, unsuccessfully.
    EDIT: Success!

DOOD! That's gonna hurt in the morning.

It's surprising that we riders are so damed good looking, considering all the scabs and scars that we accumulate.

Hope your recovery is quick and painless.

Luckily I didn't get any scratches on my face. I just added a couple to the scratch board which is my left arm.

Haha. There was a guy that had ran before me on his Kona, and he had stopped around the bend to see if I made the turn. He watched me fly strait for him! There was a group of about 5 guys that had said they were high school friends that just regrouped, then there was a guy practicing for race, and another solo guy. Also a guy with music coming from his iPhone! This was at about 5:45pm.

... the park ranger called and wants you to come back and pick up the skin you left behind.... ouch!

Luckily, no broken bones here, just a Phamtom of the Opera face for a few days....

Ouch, hope you heal up ok. I am seriously thinking its time for a full face helmet. I would rather be hot then have that I think.
