I sold my bike and now need a new rig. unfortunatly with the uncertainty in the economy im stuck in the under $1000 bracket.
I found a GT I-Drive 7 3.0 (Ruckus) on ebay shipped for just under $1000. I cant find much info on this bike though. It looks ugly as hell but has decent specs considering the price tag. I have had good luck with GT bikes in the past. Anyone ever ridden one of these or know anything about them?

the other bikes im looking at are:

    - an older santa cruz bullit 2004, awsome bike but the one i found is a little small for me i think, and has a small dent

    - the iron horse yakuza aniki which i hear is super heavy and has bad components and ever worse shocks

    - iron horse sachem 3.0, which also has cheapo components

    - What I would really like is a Norco Six but having trouble getting our canadian friends to ship a used one to me. so, this is kinda out of the equation i guess.

Also I need some help in the sizing since I cant test ride these. im thinking of doing small. I am 5'8" have a 30" inseam and like a little smaller bike.

i need to decide soon though. I am itching to ride!

    thanks!

Depends on what you plan on doing. I have a custom build MKIII on the trail frame and its a great AM bike. I do have it built up quite a bit more them then the stock one.

Transition is blowing out last years coverts.

Dude, if you want a Norco drop by Adrenaline, they've got something and build kits for all budgets. For a grand it will be hit or miss on craigs/E-bay but sometimes you find deals.

thanks for all the help guys! Especially that Intense gonna go check it out. I have a chance at the 2005 Santa Cruz bullit for $1010shipped because the winner backed out, or the 2006 I-Drive 7 3.0 for $900 shipped? You think either of those are a go? the $900 for a brand new bike seams kinda appetizing to me. That way I know it hasnt been beat

I love my coiler. I got it for $900 from Jensen. It has coil suspension and I switched it out to all air for more of a super d bike. With the coil it was a great bike though, I just prefer air.

Beefy and I can throw it at anything and it doesn't flinch. Mine weighs in at about 35 lbs. with the upgrades I did.

A great bike if you want to be able to do so downhill and still pedal up hills too.

How about a KHS AM1000, I think the frames are around $450.00 not bad for a full 5" travel bike. Good Luck

Personally I would be leery of that dent becoming a crack. Any word on how it happened?
