    *By OUR standards, the bike may look blingy. By Mike's standards, it was a budget build! :)

    *Most people interested in a 6" GIANT focus on the Reign X without giving any consideration the standard Reign! My opinion, they are making a mistake!

    REIGN X    : 67 degree HA.. 6.7".. AM/Light Freeride- Aggressive riders- Capable climbing bike
    REIGN: 67.5 degree HA.. 6".. XC/AM- All day bike- Better climber- Better choice if you aren't overly aggressive (if you consider The Luge/San Juan/Rockit downhill trails... the standard Reign is for you).

    Before deciding which model is best for you: 1) Be honest with yourself 2) Test ride both!

    I feel better now! :)

    You forgot the reign doesn't have the spontaneous climbing link breakage issue that the reign x STILL has... I'd get reign over a reign x hands down just because of that issue.

    So the reign is a freeride bike that breaks links hucking... that makes me feel a lot better about it. Tell them to replace it with a normal reign frame.

    Hucking could break any frame/component. Its a small % of the total too. Peter hasn't had any problems. Same frame/link.
