I'll be there with a full complement of tools and a stand. Like Lee said, fork rebuilds can be difficult and time consuming. When I rebuild forks, it takes a solid hour to strip, clean, etc. That is just too much for this type of clinic.

I am willing to show people how to rebuild fox RP-series rear shocks though. they are fairly straight forward and we were able to do that successfully last clinic. Just make sure that Mike has the right rebuild kit for your shock on hand, and that you reserve it with him ahead of time.

With Regards to brakes, they can be a pain. Shimano brakes are fairly easy to work on, so I could also feasibly help people with those, if needed.

Anything else on the bike, I'm game for. Just find me.

either buy it before or call the shop and verify they have it/put it aside for you. please do not go there assuming they have anything in stock. (not directed at you)

A big shout out to all the STR crew that helped out to make this a successful event. Also my crew Ryan, Freddy, Will, Dino and Ethan for taking soo much pride in the work they do and going out of their way to help out. With out all of their support a lot of things would not happen. It was good to see soo many people that we have not seen in a while. Thanks for coming by. I think this was our biggest clinic yet we had 30 cars in the parking lot. I hope everyone enjoyed he event and learned a few things. Thank you Thomas for running to get us all the pizza. I want to thank all my friends that gave me a point on the board you rock. See you soon

    Mike

Thanks Mike and the FB crew for hosting another fun clinic. Dino was super helpful as usual and made sure everyone got what they needed as well. I learned how to recable and setup my derailleur.

Then I stuck around and 'helped' JSD and 2wheel_lee do a seal change on a fork. My first time seeing the inner workings of a fork, so it was definitely interesting.

Also, was the kid who took his whole road bike apart to clean it so he could impress his girl from STR? :bang::wave:

Thanks Dino, Mike and Fred for everything - I have no fear off bleeding Avid Juicy's now (but will keep Freddy close by on speed dial ;)).

It was worth it just to see so many faces I don't get to see too often. Hi-light of the evening was walking in the door with a plate of banana bread and say I need help with my bike and the 'good' beer in the car...never seen Dave and Bryan move so fast.

I was trying to have my new bike done and set up to have the guys teach me suspension set up - guess there will be more beer bribing in the near future...

    Had a blast!

Thanks, Mike and Ryan and all the FB crews. It was my first time visiting FB and had a great time and learned a few things about cabling and derailleur settings. Thanks for the pizza. My kid (afro-hair asian) really liked it, mostly his favorite pepperoni pizza.

    Once again, thank you all.

It was really nice seeing everyone last night. Very cool of Fullerton Bikes and crew to stay late for this. I saved $6.90 by going!
