Just a friendly reminder the STR Maintenance Clinic is tonight.

If you do NOT know how to adjust a derailleur, replace a chain, change a tire, remove brake pads, set-up your suspension etc., this clinic is for you!

Note: This is a hands-on event (you will be making "repairs" to your own bike... YOU will be getting YOUR hands dirty). Join us. It will be fun!

This is a GREAT event - wish it was more often, can't make it tonight. Freddy taught me to bleed Avid brakes - I have since learned how to bleed Shimano's and sold every single pair of avids in the house! Really need to change seals on a fork now.

?Wait...? You learned how to bleed Avid brakes and then got rid of them for Shimano's? That doesn't sound like you were taught how to properly bleed Avids... lol.

 

Have you ever bled shimano's - compared to dealing with Avid's, it's like calculus to basic math. If I have to maintain 5 bikes - YEP all gonna be shimano! (there is one formula One bike in the mix)

 

i swear i think you're avoiding me julie. you couldn't make it to the clinic and can't ride with us this weekend. i think you owe me some baked goods the next time i see you.

 

Thanks for the reminder Dino. This was my first clinic and I really enjoyed the demos and catching up with friends. Next time I will even bring my bike in.
