I would like to thank whoever put the swapmeet on, my wife however would like it if I never talked to any of you again. (I spent too much!)

Does anyone know the name of the guy in the orange shirt that was on the most north/west side of the parking lot. He had a lot of stuff new and old. He had some thing I would still like to buy

I didn't bring any money because I didn't think I'd end up buying anything, wellll I made out like a bandit!!! Not only did I get EVERYTHING on my keeping-an-eye-open-for list (shorter thomson stem, seat post (got a super light easten one with LINES (hehe)) but also scored some armor that I desperately needed for Mammoth!!! SCOOOORE! :bang:

Of course all the money I saved was offset by the need to replace my front tire of my car that I blew out/pinched flatted turning into the parking lot of Chase to get money to buy all this cool stuff #-o... but I'm not going to think about that. I am going to go walk around my house in my new armor that fits so well!

Thanks everyone, good times today for sure, and definitely good company!

Oh and A HUUUGE THANK YOU to a certain special someone who stuck around to help me change my tire!!!;)

I did ok, sold a lot of little things but still came home with about $200. I did get a stem I kinda needed. I didnt sell any of the stuff I really wanted to get rid of but some is better then nothing i guess.

Wasn't there to sell, but buy something if I needed anything. I don't need anything but that's not to say there weren't a few great deals that I had my eye on, or stuff I might go try to hunt down afterwards.

Good seeing so many usual faces as well as the new ones. If you saw me rolling around on a red Niner One9, its for sale now due to a screaming deal on another bike that I found more about today. I would have rolled around with a For Sale sign on had I convinced myself earlier about selling it.

I met a lot of nice people buying and selling, it was fun being there with everyone sharing the same passion for bicycles, on a side not what ever happened to that 100 people rsvp ride?

Thanks everyone, I'm broke again! But now I have a shiny Ti frame to stare at instead of my empty wallet.

Great to meet some of you guys for the first time, and to see alot of familiar faces again.

When's the next one? I need some more parts already...

Good times! Sold a bunch of stuff. Now I don't feel so guilty about some of my recent purchases as well as some coming up. I wish I could have been able to get out sooner to check out some of the awesome deals I heard about. I also gave away a bunch of tires and a pretty cool Bluetooth computer keyboard.

I came home with a sunburn! I thought about bringing an EZ-up, but it was overcast when I left my house.

Good to see many of you I haven't ridden with in a while, as well as all the new people I met

I still have it. We can meet up when you're ready to get it.

I was wearing a red shirt, and I think my wife was the only woman up in that area. Was the woman asian? As mfoga implied, I had a large gray Dodge truck. What were you looking for?

I'll say that I was surprised that a few items didn't sell, such as the nearly new 31.6 Maverik Speedball seatpost with remote for only $100 that didn't go.:?:

The best way to "say it" is to just say it....

Fifty-six of us rode The Loop this morning! :bang:
I reviewed the photos... Looked at the RSVP list... I even counted the number of blank name badges (before we left the parking lot)... There were 56 of us!

To everyone who attended... thank you!!!

Trust me! There were more... :)

    Before I go...
A handful of the Fully first-timers asked me the exact same question,
"Are Sunday's always like this?" :?:

    Sunday Swap Meet Ride:
    Huge group
    Strict deadline
    Very short regroups/stops
    Brisk pace
Group (temporarily) seperated into three groups
Stronger riders slowed way down... Slower riders pedaled hard
Primary goal was to return to the parking lot no later than 10am

    Sunday (Newb Friendly) Ride:
    Twenty riders
    No deadline
Multiple rest stops along the way
    Mellow pace
We ride at the pace of our slowest rider
Perfect for first timers, lurkers, newbs... 3 year olds (being pulled) etc.
Primary goal is to bond with new friends

    What I'm trying to say:

If today's pace was too fast for you... If you were forced to cut a section (in order to save time)... If today's ride was your first (with STR)... If you didn't get to talk to anyone... Join us one Sunday, I 100% Guarantee you will be glad that you did!
