    I see that there is an STR MySpace group. Is there any STR Facebook group too?

    i see it as another way of networking. if someone clicks on your profile on myspace/facebook, and then see you belong to a mt. biking group (str) and they check it out, then tell their friends, or add themselves to the group, it will spread like germs. kinda goes back to the ol' saying, any publicity is good publicity.

    Agreed I can only keep up with STR and not 50,000 other groups.Thats just me though.

    I did all kinds of searches and tried 50 different spelling combos but it wouldn't produce any matches...

    I understand that, just seems like with MySpace, Sponsorhouse, etc. we are all so overnetworked anyway...yet somehow the art of communication is dying out :-k hmmmm....

    Some people use Facebook as a way to stay connected. This could be another way. No need for it, but it never hurts. Those who want it will use it.
