Come celebrate STR's rapid growth to 1000 members with a ride and BBQ Sunday July 15th. More details to come but plan on morning ride(s) at Aliso/LCWP/El Moro departing from MILF Park (aka Canyon Vista's) followed by a BBQ/party there at MILF park. Clicky on "Map" in the header for directions if needed.

This will be a family friendly event so bring your whole surname posse.

    What to bring?
    • Food to grill
    • Side dish to share
    • beverages to drink/share - No alcohol allowed at park ;)
    • Discreet drinking cups
    • chairs
    • EZ Up if you have one.
    • Table
    • Whatever I forgot to list here.
EDIT: Let's plan on setting up our group site at 8:30 am and the adult ride(s) at 9:00 am. Kiddy ride at 11:00 am. If it's really hot, we could let the kids ride first

This isn't cast in stone but for one of the adult rides we could do 5 Oaks, Cholla, Rockit, Coyote Run, Cholla, Lynx. For the Kiddy ride we could do Wood Canyon, Coyote Run, back up Wood Canyon.

    Who's in?

No firm details yet, but I would think there would be interest in an A ride, B ride and kiddies ride followed by BBQ lunch around noon. Maybe do the kiddies ride later so the big kids can take care of business first?

    Any suggestions?

i like that idea craig. maybe we do our usual 8:30 meet up time so we can set stuff up and claim our area. then as people trickle in we can rally a ride around 10ish or something for the big kids?

Just a thought :-k, with the Rim Nordic and D-ville going on the same day/weekend. How tough would it be to move it to the following Sunday July 22? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no races, events or other rides posted that day as far as I'm aware of. I'm in on the 15th or 22nd.

With 20 or so already in for the 15th, I understand if it can't be moved, afterall > "the needs of the many outway the needs of the few".

We can wear name tags like you do during high school reunions, singles gatherings, or on the Price is Right. :)

    Funny...
I was half serious, half joking. I thought it would be a good idea because whenever I meet people on big rides, I always forget their names#-o
I just didn't want to sound too silly bringing it up.
