Can you define rain? They are talking drizzle and light passing showers. Does that cancel the ride? Should we check here in the bright and early morning to see what's happening behind the orange curtain?
Yeah right! Not the fastest up the hills!! Attention newbs: - John is at least a bit modest, maybe even a little FOS (full of s...) and very adept at underestimating his climbing ability. HaHa!! :lol:Sorry I might not be there to chase you up the hills - comitted to another ride, but if the weather forces a re-route to my plans, I'll see you there. Donny
Jeez - Gene breaks a nail and the "A" ride turns to anarchy Seriously, many thanks to those willing to step up and help out. The idea was to get some climbing in for this group. If there is enough interest we could have more than one "A" ride. Just a suggestion. Not a bad idea to check the forecast. I'll pm you my cell# if you want to call me before you leave. I live close to the park. Craig
If someone local to Aliso could post up the conditions tomorrow morning, that'd be great for those of us making the drive.
Sprinkles or not I'm in, OMR had a good suggestion after arriving at TOW. As I said before most of the hammerheads know there way around fine, the "D" group will be average riders at an average pace. Not too gnar, not too slow but just right. Cholla is going to look like the E-Toro Y so I am climbing the blacktop up, from there we have fun. Greg or Tim stand out as excellent guides as well but I know I'm not getting lost here. Is anyone interested in bringing some Asada from a carneceria or even hot dogs to grill up on the rock?:?:
I live in Top of the World Laguna and would be glad to post up conditions round 6:15 when i get up tomorrow morning. The only thing is weather can be very different from what i see at my house to what it is like on the other side of the hill over by MILF park. Very often it is fogged in thick at my house and when i get over into the park it is 10 degrees warmer and clear. Jeff

That is very true to marine layer....but I would imagine if it's raining at your house it's raining on the trails....
It's looking good. No rain. Weather.com puts the chance at 10% There are some dark clouds but I think we'll be ok. Bring a jacket just in case. Craig

I just looked outside. It's cloudy and looks as though rain could be possible, but it's still dry. Should make for great riding conditions: cool and hopefully not too crowded at Aliso. Wait... we're bringing the crowd!
