I got there at 8:00 and saw Nam pull up, so me him and another dude that works at the path(forgot his name) rode up to the Top of the World. At the TOTW the path dude was hitting that little table top jump a few times and on the last time he went OTB and messed up his leg pretty bad. He flew!

Coming down Meadows was pretty fun but I forgot my fork was locked out #-o So I rode rigid the whole way down 8-[ My brakes suck too so I wasn't really able to get going fast on the singletrack :(

Mathis was pretty cool with all the trees and water crossings.

The BBQ was awesome!! Thanks to George and CC for running the show. I won an Incycle hat! I don't think I'll be allowed to wear it to work though 8-[

The fixie pennyfarthing was cool! I tried to bust out some stoppies and no handed no footers. Neil got some pics of the action! :bang:

The Korean BBQ Ribs were so good! :bang::bang:

I think we ended up with about 40 people there.

Perfect weather, great food, great drinks, and great people, what a great day!

This turned out great! I really had a good time today. Fun ride and good times meeting some new STR peeps. Thanks Aldo for being the grillmaster. The Korean BBQ was killer.

It's pretty amazing seeing the growth of STR. I've met some good friends here. Thank you George for creating a cool place to spend my time when I should be working.

Thanks also to Jeff and Nam for helping out when Margo's car wouldn't go into gear.

1000 members is a pretty big deal. It's just proof of the power of an idea and how it can flourish when people believe in it. This community and the friendships that it brings enriches not only my life but the lives of so many others and for that I thank you all.

Thanks to George, CC, Craig, and who else I didnt mention that helped organize this BBQ. Thanks to those who contribute with the food and Aldo and the other person who I didnt get his name for handling the grill. There were so so much to eat from. It was nice to finally meet some of the people who I only know of from the site. I had a great time hanging around with you guys. Thanks Jose for keeping me company most of the time. Keep it up and 1000+ is not far and long. Thanks and see you out there.
