Did you get my crash just after this? Gotta live up to the name I guess! :bang:

I ended up 11 outta 12, with the crash, and a slight bobble up high. I had a great time. It was cool feeling all the weird feelings of anticipation up at the start.
I think racing Super D is still my favorite type of race, but today was a freak'n BLAST all the same!

 

nah i only caught practice and some of the pros on my way back out/down.

Southridge was awesome this weekend! I wish I would have been able to make it through dh practice saturday without getting injured. Took a spill and jammed my shoulder that I injured earlier in the year. I was only able to do one practice run before I decided it wasn't a good idea to push it and possibly do some real damage if I ate it again. Still, it was fun and even a bit hair raising at times to watch the action. That one roller/optional drop gave more than one rider issues over the course of the weekend. I hope no one got seriously hurt on it. Jakes crash looked bad, glad he was able to walk out of there.

LOL these threads make me wanna race (ANY type of race, xc/super d/even DH) JUST so I could be in one of many, MANY super AMAZING photos!!! GREAT job photographers!!!!! And way to go to all the racers =)

 

As promised, I came in last in my group. I'm new at this, and need more practice (obviously).
