    Are you freaking kidding me?!

Race Sport and be done with it. If you beat the next kid by like 15 minutes, move up. Otherwise just enjoy it.

    (root beer)

Eh, I don't think bump up to expert unless you are feeling really good about your riding. You don't even have a bike at the moment (you said you "may" be riding the Access HT).

Anyway, you can enjoy another win, but just do it in Sport class ;) If we all HOUND you after that, then bump up

    All drama and BS aside....

Lee got me thinking a little last night.

Southridge is actually kind of a 'homecoming' for me.
In '02 it was my first race after getting run over by a pickup.
This will be my first race in about 6 years, after getting run over by a box-van about a year ago.

Yeh- so I'ma a little under the weather and stuff...big deal...I'm really looking forward to:

*The 4th ride on my 'Project Alliance' to be a race. The little bike is really fast in the single track, and I'm still kinda getting used to it's speed etc...

*The weather: is going to be perfect, so is the dirt.

*Racing then hanging with bubb's on the hill and stuff, meeting new faces from STR and cheering on my brothers and sisters in the Gravity Games.

Looking forward to meeting and hanging with you all tomorrow and Sunday.

Best of luck to all on a fun filled weekend!

    -kevin.

    :)

Have fun today Sharky hopefully the 4X is better than yesterday. The bottom half seemed liked it was being worked on... looks like they had just put dirt down but have yet to pack it down . Rock On with your new steed!!

WIll the XC races be over in time for the Super D. I was just thinking of trying it, if I have time. I mean I'd hate to just race my one lap and then head home (although I may do sport just so I can ride two laps!)

Yes, typically events have these things planned out so they can get more money from ya ;)

unless it takes you 3.5 hours to finish your XC race, you'll be ok on time, energy, who knows. I plan on doing both as well.

The flyer says Super D after XC is all over, and then 4x is after that. I'm guessing means that awards won't be until late :S

I just saw that new Shimano flyer, I hadn't seen it before. I can't decide if my excitement for my first race is biting off more than my legs can chew! It'd be fun to do more than just one lap and be done though and if I stick around to watch the Super D I might as well ride it! The 4x is something I might try next time just to say I've done one, but when I went there to play with Destroyer and friends the course was bit overwhelming. (Never even been on a 4x track before that).
